Willie has a uniquely blood blooded pedigree that balances hard grit bird dogs with run and style.  The pedigree combines both NSTRA and field line lines.  His sire is the well accomplished NAGDC NGDC DC AFC High Hopes Dark Nite and his dam is a wild bird finding machine that we did not campaign in trials. The sire side shows depth in proven bird dogs and Hall of Fame dogs up close in the pedigree.  The dam side has well known, competitive NSTRA dogs.

Willie is probably the most fun gun dog we have to handle and is extremely talented.  He was born with us and began his life as our personal hunting dog having several hundred birds shot and retrieved.  He was well know for his retrieving skills and if you shot he was bringing back a bird no matter what.  On a whim we decided to attempt to break him for field trials and amazingly he broke very quickly and came out of the process with the same range and style.  In his first season he qualified for Nationals and won his major at a Brittany trial.  Since then he has continued to gain momentum and has been a fierce and very consistent competitor.  He backs beautifully and stands his birds with style.  His ground game is snappy, fast, and of moderate horseback range.  In the home he is truly a pleasure - loving, snuggly, attentive and gets along well with everyone.  He is a smaller male with the biggest heart and one of the most uniquely biddable dogs we have owned.
