Ivy is a consistent competitor on our field trial string who will continue to be campaigned in gun dog and shooting dog stakes handled by Al Cropek in open and ourselves in Amateur. She finished her field championship in fall of 2021.  She also finished her show championship in short order in June 2022 with Jessica Carlson handling making her a dual champion! 

Her top shelf pedigree packs a powerful punch of some of the top performing, dual quality Brittanys in the country.  Her sire side includes, arguably, some of the strongest All Age contenders and producers of the current day.  Her dam side combines well known gun dogs that also have a strong record of producing. The impressive pedigree doesn't stop there.  The proven background for smart bird dogs and quality genetics runs deep in every generation.

Ivy is a forward punching gun dog with a snappy, fast, and animated gait. She is athletic and although she lost a bit of range after an injury, she has continued to do well in shooting dog and gun dog stakes.  She's drop dead gorgeous on her birds - always pointing (and backing!) with elegance, intensity, and style.  She broke out easily and retains training well, however, as her name would suggest, she does have a bit of a naughty side.  She's calm, quiet, and easy in the kennel although is a bit energetic in the home.
